Thank you, Belinda. My husband was a USAF pilot (and various other things) for 20 1/2 years. We do so appreciate the service of our men in uniform.
My blog has been down for days, but it is finally up. I felt deserted by Blogland! Pretty bad, huh?

I do salute the Veterans..but I will have to say that today's current actives have no clue what it was like for them back then. They are now stationed in private rooms with tv's, game systems, you name it. I am glad they have convenience...I am just saying they have no clue what the older Veterans went through.

What a nice tribute to your Dad. My Dad was in the Air Force and served in the Korean War also.
