Equal Time

I couldn't post about J's salvation experience, without posting something about LeLe's. She was young as well, being only 7. She talked it over with Bro. Harvill and I don't have all the specific details, but he came out of their meeting assuring us she was indeed saved. I have photos of LeLe's baptism. They are a bit grainy, since no one had heard of digital cameras, and the average Joe didn't own a high falutin' camera with a telephoto lens.

Entering the baptistry.

Going under.

Up she goes.
I'm reminded of that old hymn, Heaven Came Down.

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul,
When at the cross the Savior made me whole.
My sins were washed away,
And my night was turned to day.
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul.
Filled my soul!

God Bless you my children.

You can tell I'm smiling when I came up because you can see my huge cheeks from the angle you've taken the photo. I remember I was wearing my red Mexican dress.
