Quiet

I didn't realize how long it had been since I posted on the blog. There are so many things to do, and none of them really post worthy. All the Christmas shopping and sewing, planning the meals and such, just nothing interesting.

LMW is going through a stage where he gets very angry and tries the temper tantrum thing. We just ignore him and it pretty much nips it right then. He has been doing the "falling limp" thing in our arms, and I have to wrangle him more than usual, making my neck and shoulders hurt. It's just a phase, and maybe even the terrible twos beginning. Normal stuff for a little boy.

He loves all the Christmas decorations and everything is "Ho Ho Ho" to him. I can't wait to see him open his gifts.

I've been burdened by the need to sponsor a needy child at Christmastime. It's too late to do it this year, and I don't have any money left in the budget to do it anyway, but I'm hoping and praying my family and I will be able to do it next Christmas. It's an exciting thought.

I'm going to begin on a new baby quilt today. Wish me luck!

Oh, terrible twos, how fun. Do not stress, there can be charity any time of the year and I know you do share. Merry Christmas

If nothing else, the Salvation Army bell ringers are out there. I know for a fact all that change and bills goes directly to people that really need a hand even if it's just a meal, a caring ear to listen, a couple gallons of gas or a warm bed for the night.

It's funny your post was titled 'Quiet'. I was wishing I had somewhere quiet to run to! :D

There are so many ways to give that don't have to include $$. And lots give at Christmas. You've given this year:)

Finished the quilt yet? I thought I was finished with shopping and thought of a friend in prison whose hubby and children are probably having a pretty rough year. Gotta go put some stuff on their doorsteps! You are a blessing, Belinda! Keep it up! And have a very blessed Christmas as you give and remember our Lord. Hugs, Gloria
